PiliWu Design teamed up with agoood and Children Are Us Foundation, creating more than 5000 pictures illustrated by children members of the foundation. We’ve come to know them better through several sessions, their imagination has blown our mind away. These children were able to produce extraordinary illustrations, and with the help of agoood designers, we’ve accumulated a bank of original and creative illustrations, that could be further designed into various applications.
This project is part of 2016 Taipei World Design Capital activities, city life was the main theme for decorating the walls of a busy metro station in Taipei. People and cityscape were two main subjects illustrated by the children, and the outcome was quite impressive for the public, as they’re able to see the city from a different perspective.
People and cityscape were connected through these mentally challenged children’s ingenious artwork, sometimes even humorous touches can be seen in details. Through design, we believe city life can have a better flow of energy, resulting in a more charming environment.
